Scarecrows and smiles: High Star Ranch Fall Fest brings seasonal cheer
KAMAS, Utah — The annual Fall Festival at High Star Ranch was held on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, from noon to 5 p.m., bringing together families, local businesses, and community members for fun and entertainment.
A key feature of the event was the Scarecrow Walk, which invited participants to build their own scarecrows as part of a team-building activity and to advertise local businesses. Winners of this year’s Scarecrow Walk were:
- Spookiest – Noles Nursery
- Funniest – Rhodes Valley Outfitters
- Most Original – Back Country Horsemen of Utah High Uintas Chapter
“It was a great opportunity for the community to come together and get creative,” said one of the organizers.
In addition to the Scarecrow Walk, the festival featured live music, vendor booths, wagon rides, and a pumpkin patch. Attendees also enjoyed face painting, yard games, and bounce houses.
