Park City Hospital celebrates 15th anniversary

PARK CITY, Utah — Intermountain Health Hospital in Park City celebrated its 15-year anniversary with an on-site celebration and gala.

People gathered recently to enjoy casino games, food, live music, a large ice sculpture and other festivities.

“It’s wonderful to see the countless individuals and families for whom this state-of-the-art medical center provides treatment,” Park City visionary Beano Solomon told TownLift. “The dedicated professionals and volunteers should take pride in their award-winning work.”

Solomon was instrumental in funding the first feasibility study for what is now the hospital 20 years ago. “What stands out to me, however, is the fact that hundreds of people throughout the community are able to find fulfilling employment at the Park City Hospital,” she said.

The hospital has announced plans for the construction of a new cancer center, emergency room and surgery services.

The following video showcases the 15 year journey.
