Trails, Trash, and Tunes returns for its third annual Rail Trail clean up party

WANSHIP, Utah — Get ready to celebrate Earth and community on Saturday, May 11, at the free “Trails, Trash, and Tunes” event from 12 to 4 p.m. at the Wanship Trailhead (1975 Hoytsville Rd). The event, presented by the Summit County Stormwater Coalition and Planning Department, combines a Rail Trail cleanup with live music by Pixie and the Partygrass Boys and family-friendly activities.

Enjoy beers and snacks from Offset Bier Co, explore outreach booths like Recycle Utah, and keep the kids entertained at the Summit County Library’s Kids Corner. Bike or carpooling is encouraged, and attendees are reminded to dress for the weather and stay hydrated.

Registration is not required, but an RSVP for a headcount is appreciated. Event sponsors include The Lodge at Blue Sky and Big-D Companies, and Mountain Town Music for the tunes.
