Running with Ed offers early-bird pricing starting March 1

PARK CITY, Utah — Running with Ed (RWE) is a celebratory relay race fundraiser for the Park City Education Foundation (PCEF) that raises money for Park City teachers, students and schools.

It’s been voted one of Park City’s Best Fundraisers for 11 years.

“Anyone and everyone can do RWE,” Jennifer Billow, PCEF vice president of advancement said in a statement.

RWE EARLY-BIRD REGISTRATION

Early -bird pricing begins March 1. Racers can secure $100 adult registration pricing while it’s available. As a special thank you gift, the first 100 paid registrations will receive a custom 24oz Stanley/RWE ICEFLOW™ Bottle with Fast Flow Lid.

RWE COURSE

This 26.4 mile, 8-leg course will offer something for every runner. The shortest leg is 1.3 miles and the longest leg is 5.7 miles. Racers will visit six schools and the Utah Olympic Park, each of which will compete to create the most energetic and entertaining exchange and may make you forget that you must run a bit amongst all the partying. TEAM SIZE

Team sizes are eight people or less – there is a leg for everyone to run, walk, hop, skip, jump or dance their way from exchange party to exchange party. There’s a best costume award, and participants get a race t-shirt.

START AND FINISH AT BASIN REC FIELDHOUSE

It’s the biggest celebration of the students, teachers, and schools. Raise $500 by May 1 and get to choose your own start time.

PARK CITY MOUNTAIN GRANT

Win money for your school with Park City Mountain Resort and Vail Resorts EpicPromise, a school PTO/A can win money for having the highest participation in RWE. $5,000, $3,000, and $2,000 will be awarded to the top three schools.

FUNDRAISING

Schools and teachers are essential for successful families, successful businesses, and a successful community. Their goal this year is to raise $325,000 for PCEF to provide critical funding for programs the students and teachers need next school year. There’s fundraising prizes, too.

“Our teachers and schools have given so much to us, let’s give back to show our gratitude,” said Billow.
