It’s official- Park City election results certified

Three Park City Council seats and a $30 million recreation bond were on the ballot

PARK CITY, Utah — Results from the Nov. 21 Municipal General Election have been certified following an official canvass, and were approved by the Park City Council at its meeting on Dec. 5.

Incumbent Ryan Dickey, Ed Parigian and Bill Ciraco will fill the three Park City Council seats up for grabs this election cycle. Dickey received the most votes with 1,778, Parigian received 1,311 votes, and Ciraco received 1,158 votes.

Another hot topic on the ballot was Park City’s proposed $30 million recreation bond. Out of 2,604 votes cast, 1,439 residents voted against the bond and 1,165 voted for the bond, with those against marking nearly a 10% lead.

Overall 2,731 votes were cast during this election out of 5,480 registered voters in Park City, marking a nearly 50% voter turnout.
