Mirror Lake Highway to close Nov. 30

KAMAS, Utah — The Utah Department of Transportation announced today that it will close Mirror Lake Highway, SR-150, on Thursday, Nov. 30.

The road, which winds east from Kamas, will be closed from mileposts 14.6 to 48.6.

Mirror Lake Highway and many other seasonal roads in Utah opened later than usual this year due to record-breaking snowfall during the 2022-23 winter season.

UDOT also announced its decision to close Guardsman Pass for the season earlier this month.

According to a statement from UDOT earlier this year, many of Utah’s seasonal routes typically reopen during Memorial Day weekend.
