13 popular trails and trailheads to be resurfaced beginning July 25

PARK CITY, Utah— Get ready for temporary closures across popular asphalt trails and trailheads throughout Park City starting tomorrow, Tuesday, July 25.

According to Basin Recreation, contractors will be busy resurfacing these areas over the next two weeks, making them better for your outdoor adventures. Each closure will be in effect for 24 hours after the application of the new surfacing, so plan your excursions accordingly.

The trails effected are:

• Highland Trailhead- starting July 25
• Highland TH connector from Mountain Willow Lane
• Highland Drive Trail
•  I-80 underpass Highland to Bitner
• Bitner Road Trail
• Spring Creek Trailhead
• Rasmussen Road Trail from Kimball to Jeremy
• Blue Bird Trail
• Rasmussen Road Trail from Jeremy west to trail end
• The Woods parking lot and trail
• Matt Knoop Park parking lot- closed August 1-2
