Three Utah National Parks in top five most Instagrammable

PARK CITY, Utah — Utah is renowned for its breathtaking natural landscapes and national parks. Among these are the popular Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, and Arches National Park, which have captured the hearts of many Instagram-ers.

Travel information site Places To Travel conducted a study that examined Instagram hashtag data and the size of each U.S. national park. The study aimed to determine which park had the highest ‘hashtags per acre.’

Bryce Canyon National Park secured second place with 728,221 Instagram hashtags. The park is known for strikingly steep red cliffs and endless hiking possibilities. Covering an area of 35,835.08 acres, Bryce Canyon National Park records an outstanding average of 20.32 hashtags per acre.

Zion National Park sits just outside the top three, with 147,237 acres and a staggering 1,428,038 hashtags on Instagram. With an average of 9.69 hashtags per acre overall, this natural wonder has also captivated the online community.

Not far behind, claiming the fifth spot is Arches National Park. Spanning 76,678 acres, this park has garnered 669,062 hashtags on the platform, resulting in 8.72 per acre.

The parks showcase the majestic beauty of Utah’s geography, making it a prime destination for nature enthusiasts and photographers.
