Annual global and local Olympic Day, June 23

PARK CITY, Utah — The Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation (UOLF) will host two Olympic and Paralympic Day events in June to celebrate getting active and to inspire more movement every day.

The UOLF’s festivities will reflect the pillars of Olympic Day – to move, learn and discover – while inspiring the spirit of Olympism and Paralympism in Utah’s communities.

On June 16, the Utah Olympic Oval will feature sport demonstrations and lessons from 5-6:30 p.m. Guests are invited to participate in skating, curling and more on the “Fastest Ice on Earth.”

A public skate session will follow from 7-9 p.m. with discounted skate admission skate rentals for only $6. Following the indoor activities, a free outdoor movie screening of “Race” is scheduled for 9 p.m. in the Park Pavilion northwest of the Oval.

On June 23 the Utah Olympic Park will feature the headlining event – presented by Your Utah Toyota Dealers. Guests will be given an event passport upon entry to encourage participation in all the available activities. If they fill out their entire passport, they’ll receive free entry into the Flying Ace All-Stars freestyle pool show.

Free activities to encourage movement will include a push track experience, laser biathlon, a workout session with Park City Ski and Snowboard athletes, and National Ability Center adaptive activities from 3-6 p.m. An Olympic and Paralympic athlete meet and greet is available from 4-6 p.m. before the culmination of the evening in the exciting Flying Ace All-Stars Freestyle Show at 6:30 p.m.

The Flying Ace All-Stars show features Team USA Olympians and National Team skiers and snowboarders performing aerial acrobatic feats as they soar up to 60 feet in the air before splashing into the Spence Eccles Olympic Freestyle Pool.

Tickets are required for the Flying Ace All-Stars show and can be purchased for $20 per person or $70 for a family pack of four tickets at UtahOlympicLegacy.org.
