Driver transported to hospital after single-vehicle rollover

PARK CITY, Utah — One person has been transported to the hospital after a single-vehicle rollover this morning on SR 40.

According to a statement from the Park City Fire District, the accident took place at approximately 5:40 a.m. near mile marker 6 in the west bound lane.

While crews were on scene, a second rollover happened in the area.

“Just a reminder to slow down for emergency vehicles. We had several near miss accidents while trying to address both incidents,” said Eric Gomm, PCFD captain.

The PCFD has provided the following tips for driving on slick roads:
– Plan for the drive
– Drive slowly
– Give yourself enough time to brake
– Keep a safe distance behind other vehicles
