Midway Community Contra Dance

Join the fun at the Community Contra Dance on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Midway Community Center (160 W Main St, Midway, UT)!
The event kicks off with a Beginner’s Workshop from 6:00pm to 6:30pm for dancers aged 8 and up, followed by the Contra Dance from 6:30pm to 9:30pm for all ages. Enjoy live music from Doxatunes, a local band from Salt Lake City, as you dance to happy and lively tunes!
There’s something for everyone, including a Community Dance for Kids from 5:00pm to 6:00pm, for kids aged 3-12. No experience or partner needed! $7 for adults, $5 for kids (under 12), and non-dancers can join for just $5. Children under 3 can be worn in a body carrier or sling.
The event is open to all skill levels, with teaching and calling by Carrie Dayton-Madsen, a seasoned contra dance instructor. Come for an evening of fun, laughter, and great music!
