Midway Ice Castles to wrap up longest season ever on Saturday, Feb. 25

MIDWAY, Utah — The Ice Castles in Midway will close after its longest season ever on Saturday, February 25.

Located at Soldier Hollow, the popular winter attraction was able to open this season on December 21, 2022, thanks to the cold and snowy weather.

“The winter event is typically open for 4-6 weeks each year, but this winter the attraction will have been open for nearly 10 weeks when it closes Saturday – Ice Castles’ longest season ever in Utah,” said a press release from Ice Castles. “During that time, more than 100,000 people visited the icy fortress in the Heber Valley.”

A Utah-based company, Ice Castles LLC operates five locations across North America. Its castles are made up of thousands of hand-placed icicles, carved tunnels, slides, fountains, and sculptures.

Tickets for the remainder of the week are currently on sale at https://icecastles.com/utah/.
