Discover the cozy side of Park City

PARK CITY, Utah — The leaves are golden, snow is capping the mountains and the crisp air is signaling that winter is just around the corner. As the temperature drops and Park City begins to welcome in the icy months, these local spots offer a cozy place to warm up and hunker down.

Located on Historic Main Street, Atticus Coffee & Teahouse is the perfect nook to warm up. Since 2010, Atticus has been Park City’s unofficial living room, where locals and tourists alike can come in from the cold, shake the snow off their books and settle in with a book and hot drink.

This fall, Atticus is inviting guests to warm up with their Salted Maple Latte or The Ghost of Carmelita, a dark cold brew steeped with brown sugar and topped with caramel cold foam.

“Since opening, we’ve given back 1.5% of every sale to local nonprofits,” Owner Erica Winzeler said. “So grab a seat, stay a while, and know your latte is doing a little good, too.”

Tucked beneath Historic Main, Old Town Cellars is a warm escape from the cold. The wine bar features a selection of wines, including its own blends, along with locally brewed beers, spirits and delicious bites, such as cheese and chocolate truffles.

With its intimate atmosphere and mountain-town character, Old Town Cellars is a place to slow down and savor the moment. Guests can explore wines by the glass or arrange a private tasting for a more personal experience.

Whether stopping in after a day on the slopes or meeting friends for an evening out, it offers a cozy setting to raise a glass and enjoy the season.

Cold mornings call for a sweet treat, and CHOMP Donuts & Coffee in Kimball Junction is the perfect place to find it. CHOMP is bringing a little comfort this season with caramel apple fritters, maple bar donuts, hot chocolate and a full coffee menu.

With donuts made fresh in small batches throughout the day, there’s always something worth stopping in for, whether you’re craving a classic glazed donut or a seasonal flavor. Pair your favorite with a hot cup of coffee for a quick morning pick-me-up, or grab a box to share with family and friends.

A LOCOCO pop up. It's a local cocoa brand, created by two Park City residents.

There’s nothing better than sipping a hot chocolate on a cold winter day, and LOCOCO is giving the classic drink a local twist. Created by Park City local, Anna Bloom, the pop-up shop offers cocoa blends with functional mushrooms. The blends are vegan, with dairy options also available.

In addition to its pop-up shops, LOCOCO’s tasting room is now open on Main Street. The Cocoa Bar and Speakeasy is a ticketed experience offering a private space inspired by après-ski culture, where guests can engage their senses, get creative and connect with friends over a mug of cocoa designed for both body and mind.
