Republic Services operating a day behind schedule

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — Republic Services announced today that its waste collection services are operating a day behind schedule.

According to a statement from the company, a Republic Services truck will be in the Jeremy Ranch area this morning, catching up on yesterday’s service, then head to Summit Park this afternoon.

“All other Tuesday routes (Silver Creek, Redstone, Spring Creek, Black Hawk, Glenwild, The Colonies I, II, and III, Bear Hollow, Park West/Canyons, Silver Springs, Willow Creek, Sunpeak, Snyders Mill, White Pine, and Ranch Place) will start today (1/4), a day behind as scheduled,” said a statement from Republic Services. “Reminder: if you have trash that does not fit in your container due to the delays, leave it with your bins on your scheduled day. We’re running extra personnel on all the front loads to pick up garbage that is in excess of the container.”

The company is a full day behind on residential recycling but expects to be completely caught up by Saturday, January 7.
