Take Toko’s XC Wax Clinic at White Pine Nordic Center

PARK CITY, Utah — Park City’s Paula Seeley will be hosting another cross country (XC) ski wax clinic sponsored by one of the oldest and most prominent international ski wax companies, Toko.

She’s not only a Toko Tech Team Member and Technician, she also races competitively for Team Toko. Seeley told TownLift, “It fuels my passion for Nordic skiing to see how, by teaching people to properly take care of the skis, it maximizes their enjoyment too.”

She started the sport back when she moved to Park City at age 25 and sees attendees of her once-monthly winter-season Toko XC Wax Clinics with age ranges of 20s – 60s. Seeley’s XC passion is perhaps most evident when, after all the other parents drop their kids off at xc ski practice then drive away, Seeley is that one who stays and skis.

No pre-registration for the upcoming, Friday, January 6, clinic is necessary. The cost is $10 and the clinics are always held at White Pine Touring’s Nordic Center, located at 1541 Thaynes Canyon Dr.Park City, 84060. It’s from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.

Although most of the clinic attendees are year-round locals, visitors are more than welcome to the “very informative session” where people can learn waxing and equipment-care tips and tricks they didn’t even know they didn’t know.

Attendees receive 15% off of all Toko in-store products as well as some Toko swag.
