UDOT announces seasonal road closures ahead of big snowstorm

UTAH — November in Utah brings snow and seasonal road closures for some of the state’s most scenic drives. The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) announced three closures: SR 190 Guardsman Pass, SR 92 Alpine Loop, and SR 150 Mirror Lake Highway.

All three closures are expected to be in place until sometime in May 2023, when snow has sufficiently melted away. A complete list of seasonal road closures and their status can be found on the UDOT website.

Along with road closures, the early season snowfall has also prompted UDOT to be very active with their snowplows.
