PARK CITY, Utah — Ticket details, including on-sale dates, venues, and the festival platform for the upcoming 2023 Sundance Film Festival, were announced Tuesday by the Sundance Institute. The Festival, which will run from January 19 – 29, has expanded the list of venues used in Park City, Salt Lake City, and the Sundance Mountain Resort. There will also be several online offerings.
Passes and packages will go on sale for the public starting October 17 for in-person screenings and December 13 for online. Packages such as the Award-Winners Package will cost $250 for in-person and $200 for online screenings, while the complete Festival Package will cost $750 for in-person and $300 for online screenings. Individual tickets for the public will go on sale starting January 12 and cost $25.
Utah residents will have access to the Utah Locals Package starting October 13 as part of a special pre-sale. The Utah Locals Package will cost $650 and consists of 10 tickets to in-person screens during the Festival.
Those ages 18 to 25 will be eligible for two youth packages. The Ignites Package will be available for $250 and consists of 10 tickets, early access to ticket selection, five free vouchers for online films, special entry to Ignite events, and explorer pass benefits. New for this year, the SLC Youth Pass is for sale at a discounted rate of $200 to enable local youth to experience the Festival around Salt Lake City.
