Pride month community conversation to be held on June 28th

PARK CITY, Utah — Mountain Mediation Center and Park City’s LGBTQ+ Task Force will be hosting an event on June 28th in the Community Room of the Park City Library for those interested in starting the conversation around visibility and belonging.

Participants will be given the opportunity to hear the perspectives of a diverse group of individuals as well as share their own thoughts and feelings regarding the topics of being seen and unseen in one’s community.

Conversations may include how visibility plays a part in feelings of community and safety, the reason why some choose to be invisible, and the role of individual versus collective responsibility.

The conversation is open for both English and Spanish speakers and will take place from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
