Fundraiser for Zack Meland being held at Summit Community Gardens Tuesday night

PARK CITY, Utah. — After suffering a severe brain injury and fractures to his leg in a motorcycle accident on May 26, local Zack Meland is continuing to make slow progress each day. As Meland continues to make small steps forward, individuals can support him and his battle on Tuesday night at a fundraiser event at the Summit Community Gardens.

On Tuesday, June 21 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Summit County Gardens, several of Zack’s friends will be hosting a fundraising event to raise more money to support his recovery. The event will feature food, beverages, live music, silent auction and a raffle in order to help Zack and his mother Heidi. Additionally, To help with his medical bills and the relocation of his mother Heidi from Minnesota, individuals can donate to a GoFundMe that has already raised over $40,000.
