Park City Transit & High Valley Transit drop mask requirement

PARK CITY, Utah — Park City Transit (PCT), High Valley Transit (HVT), the Utah Transit Authority (UTA), and the Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) all dropped their mask requirements after a federal judge in Florida struck down the national mask mandate on airplanes and public transit.

“The C.D.C continues to recommend wearing a mask on public transit, and both HVT and PCT will provide masks upon request for those who would like to wear one,” PCT and HVT said in a joint statement.

“We will continue to disinfect and clean vehicles regularly and encourage you to treat everyone on board with respect as we adjust to this change in masking requirements.”

President Biden told reporters in New Hampshire on Tuesday that the decision to wear a mask is up to Americans’ individual choice.
