Truck impaled by guardrail on I-80, No injuries reported

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — At roughly 2 am early Thursday morning, the Park City Fire District (PCFD) along with Utah Highway Patrol and the Summit County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle accident on I-80 eastbound near mile marker 141 — in between the Jeremy Ranch and Summit Park exits.

The vehicle hit the guardrail and an approximately 8-foot long section of it penetrated the truck.

Despite multiple people being in the vehicle, there were no reported injuries, according to PCFD.
