Extra patrols requested after threatening call to Summit County Health Department

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — On Monday, the Summit County Health Department received a “concerning” voicemail from an angry parent indicating that he will come to meet county health director Dr. Phil Bondurant in person, according to the Park City Police Department.

In response, the police department said that extra patrols for officer presence during business hours were requested.

The call potentially may have been a response to the 45-day mask mandate for indoor public buildings and lines that was instituted last week in response to the COVID-19 Omicron surge.
