Park City hotel bookings ahead of pre-pandemic levels

PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Chamber/Bureau recently released their occupancy forecast through February, showing bookings far exceeding last year, and in some spots greater than pre-pandemic levels.

The report is based on data from 19 properties that represent a diversity of lodging options, including economy hotels and short-term rentals. Bookings and cancellations made after Dec. 15 are not shown.

On Wednesday, December 29 the occupancy rate is listed at 99%, which is a 30% increase for the same day last year.

The rate is set to drop to 58% on January 2, hovering between the 50s and 70s throughout January.

Most dates around the New Year and early January show occupancy levels above pre-pandemic 2019/early 2020.
