Calls for service: Police and sheriff logs

Calls for service to the Park City Police Department (PCPD) and Summit County Sheriff Department (SCSD) for the week of December 13 – 19.

MONDAY:

SCSD – A Salt Lake City man in his 20s turned himself in for arrest warrants. He was placed in custody and was released to jail without incident.

PCPD –  A car was pulled over on SR 224 for speeding. The driver notified the officer that they were going to the airport. They were advised to travel at the posted speed limits.

TUESDAY:

PCPD – A 911 phone hang-up came from the Stein Eriksen Lodge. Attempts were made by officers to call back.

PCPD – A car was being driven around Park Meadows Dr. with its flasher lights blinking, and the driver was disregarding multiple traffic signals before a traffic stop was made.

FRIDAY:

PCPD – In Park City Heights, an officer attempted to make contact with a resident to notify them that their garage door was open.

PCPD – A motorist reported a “big (Dodge) truck” was stuck on the Park City Municipal Golf Course and that they are trying to get it out however requested assistance from officers. The caller was advised he may have to call a tow company.

PCPD – A parking problem atop Marsac Ave occurred when the Brighton Estates parking lot was congested.

PCPD – A snowmobile VIN inspection was requested by a resident.

SATURDAY:

PCPD – A LYFT driver’s car overheated on Swede Alley.

SUNDAY:

SCSD – A caller stated that her skis and ski poles had been stolen from a ski rack next to the Umbrella Bar in Park City Mountain Canyons Village.

PCPD – Near the Park City Mountain base village, an elevator was stuck and the door jammed with only luggage inside, no passengers.

SCSD – At a cabin in Oakley, the owner called deputies to report that he noticed several items had been moved and were out of place. His trail camera had captured footage of an unidentified adult man. The only item missing was a “large amount” of firewood.
