New library cards needed for all Park City Library customers
PARK CITY, Utah — Park City Library is migrating every library card to a 14-digit barcode. This will improve security, increase accessibility and align with statewide standards.
The Library is issuing new library cards for all of its customers now and is asking everyone to come into the Library to get a new card.
The Library staff wrote in a statement, “Thank you in advance for coming into the Library to start this process with us.”
Customers can bring old library cards in to be used in an upcycled community project.
The new library card barcode will be updated in various online services, such as the Overdrive and Libby apps, so login processes will not be interrupted.
The new cards may be obtained at the front desk, which is adjacent to Lucky Ones Coffee.
