Learn how to winterize your garden this Saturday

“This event is completely free and we really encourage plot renters to get their plots ready before winter and take advantage of one of the last days in the garden before the season ends,” said Carmen Bachofen, program manager for SCG.

SCG’s final event of the season will be on Halloween from 4-7 pm at the garden. This event is also free and open to the public, but they are asking people to sign up on our website so they have enough tricks or treats for all.

SCG is also asking for volunteers for the evening to help make it a hit for our youngest community gardeners. If people would like to sign up to volunteer they can do so by filling out this sign-up form, there are a variety of times and activities available.
