Park City Fire District announces new Chief

PARK CITY, Utah — On Wednesday, the Park City Fire District Administrative Control Board and Chair Michael Howard announced that Robert Zanetti will be the new Chief of the Park City Fire District.

Zanetti has worked for the Park City Fire District since 1989.

For the past 11 years, he has served as the Deputy Chief, where he managed facilities, vehicles, equipment, personnel, and daily operations.

“I’m honored to lead in this community where I have lived and worked for the past 35 years,” said Chief Zanetti.

“I will continue to ensure the needs of our residents and visitors are cared for and addressed. I’m fortunate to work with an amazing team of professional men and women who serve this great Department.

“I want to thank the Park City Fire District Administrative Control Board, Summit County, and Park City for their support during this transition.”

In late July, former Park City Fire District Chief Paul Hewitt passed away, following a UTV accident he suffered while on vacation in Oregon.

“I, and the other members of the Administrative Control Board, look forward to working with Chief Zanetti in his new role,” said Chair Michael Howard.
