Free outdoor screening of Beaver Believers at Newpark on Thursday

PARK CITY, Utah. — Beaver Believers is a story about 5 scientists and a hairdresser that tackle climate change with the help of beavers. The film will be screened at the Newpark Amphitheater, near Swaner EcoCenter on Thursday, August 26, at 8 pm.

The free movie screening will be hosted outside. Partner booths open at 7 pm and the movie will begin at 8 pm. The East Canyon Watershed Committee is partnering with Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter to highlight water conservation efforts in Park City on East Canyon Creek.

The film highlights how the North American beaver enriches ecosystems and absorbs the impacts of climate change. This small bucktoothed animal has a lasting impact on surrounding environments.
