Park City Chamber of Commerce seeking new board members

PARK CITY, Utah. — Want to run things around here? The Park City Chamber/Bureau is looking for nine new members of the Board of Directors who will take office in July 2021 for a four-year term.

The board is comprised of 23 elected members representing a cross section of the businesses and professionals within the greater community of Park City. Each elected member is responsible for overseeing and setting policies for the Chamber/Bureau. The requirements to run for a seat are that your company is a full member of the Chamber/Bureau and the membership is in good standing. Furthermore, the candidate must embrace the responsibility, including the required time commitment, of overseeing the organization and representing its membership.

The Nominating Committee will select a slate of up to 18 candidates to put on the official election ballot. Voting will begin on June 7, 2021. The nine candidates receiving the most votes will take their seats on the Chamber/Bureau Board in July of 2021 for a four-year term.

The Chamber/Bureau is focused on change and growth as the community embarks on economic recovery and a new strategic plan with a new CEO.
