Jackson Hole Artist Featured at Main Street Pop-Up Gallery

PARK CITY, Utah. — The founder of New West Knifeworks and New West Fine Art Gallery in Jackson, Wyo., Corey Milligan, is establishing his love for art (in the form of knives and on canvas) in the Wasatch Back. A pop-up gallery at 625 Main Street with artwork by Connor Liljestrom, a contemporary Western artist featured at the New West Fine Art Gallery in Jackson, will be open for Park City visitors and locals to visit throughout February.

Liljestrom will be at the pop-up gallery for an artist meet-and-greet Feb. 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. His work is made with oil and mixed oil mediums and the artist uses a layered approach to transmitting images, symbols, and colors of the West to his canvases.

Artist Connor Liljestrom speaks about the “honesty that’s required in creative expression” in this video about his work.

Jackson born and bred New West Knifeworks opened a shop at 675 Main Street in 2020 and it can be visited year-round.
