Greater Salt Lake City Area on Track for Driest Winter on Record

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah. — The Salt Lake City area gets an average of 47 inches of snowfall annually, according to This year, however, Utahns are witnessing the driest winter in history, according to the U.S. National Weather Service of Salt Lake City.
