Epic Coverage Selection Deadline Extended for Passholders

PARK CITY, Utah. — Vail Resorts’ EpicPass.com announced via email today, Dec. 9, that the deadline for passholders to select their Epic Coverage insurance plan has been extended to Dec. 14.

If you would like to have Epic Coverage apply to the “Core Season” of Dec. 8 2020 to April 4, 2021 and not just your “Priority Reservation Days” you now have until Dec. 14 to login and make that change. (Don’t forget you have to make coverage changes for each person on your account, not just the primary account holder.)

A few days of information circulating online through social media, local news outlets and community forums like NextDoor.com about the plan coverage selection process may have led to the extension. One thing that’s certain: passholders have more time to choose their coverage for the 2020-21 ski season.

Below is a graphic from EpicPass.com with details about Epic Coverage options, and the steps you can take to select which version of Epic Coverage you want this season:

Log in to your account on EpicPass.com > Click “My Epic Account” > Click “Season Passes” > Scroll down and click on the “Epic Coverage” section > Scroll down and click “Edit” and select which days you want covered.
