Summit County Nursing Director, Carolyn Rose, Retires After 19 Years of Service

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah. — A vital member of the Summit County workforce, Carolyn Rose, retires this week after serving for 19 years as the nursing director in the Summit County Health Department.
According to a Facebook post by the Health Department, some of Rose’s noteworthy accomplishments during her time at the County include, but are not limited to:
- 2002 – Olympic Games in Park City
- 2008 – H1N1 response, contributed to development of statewide disease reporting software
- 2020 – Covid-19 response, contact tracing
