Join the Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter in this outdoor project managing invasive weeds! Invasive weeds crowd out native species and impair habitat. This is a great way to get onto areas of the Preserve that are not open to the public. Volunteers should be able to walk over uneven ground, bend over for extended periods, work outdoors in a variety of conditions, and comply with the safety guidelines. This hike will take place in-person on the north side of the Swaner Preserve. We will meet at the Spring Creek Trailhead. Live Like Sam Thrive Summer Session

Registration for our Thrive Summer program is now OPEN! Thrive is a FREE evidence-based program equipping Summit & Wasatch County students in grades 6-12 with vital life skills. Students meet for one hour weekly on Zoom, with a cohort of up to ten peers and a Thrive facilitator, to learn, practice, and reflect on valuable well-being skills. Student participants will receive a $60 research stipend upon completing the program requirements and attending 5 out of 6 sessions. Registration for the Summer Session closes on June 11 at 11:59 PM.  Let's work together to ensure every student has access to the tools they need to thrive.
