Park City Mountain announces target opening date for upcoming ski season

PARK CITY — Park City Mountain is already counting down to the 2026-27 ski season, announcing Friday, Nov. 20, as its target opening date.

The resort’s announcement comes as teams prepare to welcome skiers and snowboarders back to the mountain for another winter season.

This winter could bring plenty of excitement to Park City Mountain, with forecasts pointing toward a potentially snowy season and Shaun White’s The Snow League scheduled to make its Park City Mountain debut in January.

The target opening date is subject to change depending on weather and snow conditions.

Last year, the resort originally planned to open Nov. 21 but lack of snow delayed the start of their season to Dec. 5.

Epic Pass prices increase Sept. 7

For skiers and riders planning ahead, Park City Mountain is also reminding guests that Epic Pass prices are scheduled to increase Sept. 7.

The Epic Pass is currently listed at $1,119 for adults and $889 for young adults and teens ages 13-30. The pass provides unlimited, unrestricted access to Park City Mountain, as well as Vail Mountain, Whistler Blackcomb, and 39 additional resorts worldwide. Passholders can also ski at participating resorts in Japan and Europe.

The Epic Local Pass is listed at $829 for adults and $659 for young adults. It provides unlimited access to Park City Mountain, excluding peak dates, along with access to resorts including Vail Mountain, Heavenly, Whistler Blackcomb, and Breckenridge, subject to restrictions.

Park City Mountain said it will share additional details about the upcoming season in the coming months.
