Basin Rec to temporarily close pathways for maintenance work

PARK CITY, Utah — Several pathways in the Park City area will see intermittent 24-hour closures beginning Friday as crews complete crack sealing and seal coating work, according to a Basin Recreation announcement.

The work is scheduled from Friday, Aug. 14, through Tuesday, Aug. 18, and will affect pathways in Bitner Ranch Road, Silver Creek Village, and Trailside.

Closures will be intermittent and may last up to 24 hours at a time.

Trail users are asked to follow posted closure signs, cones, and caution tape and avoid entering closed areas until the markers have been removed.

The work is intended to maintain the pathways and extend their useful life.
