PARK CITY, Utah — Deer Valley Resort will celebrate Utah’s craft brewing scene with the fifth annual Deer Valley Mountain Beer Festival, set for Sept. 18-20.
The weekend will open with a Brewmaster Dinner on Friday, Sept. 18, followed by two full days of the festival on Saturday, Sept. 19, and Sunday, Sept. 20, from noon to 5 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 10, at 10 a.m. MST and will be available online at deervalley.com.
“As we celebrate the fifth Deer Valley Mountain Beer Festival, we are excited to showcase even more local breweries, dining options, and expanded entertainment offerings for event guests,” said Deer Valley Resort Director of Beverage Josh Hockman. “Locals and visitors are encouraged to toast this final weekend of summer with refreshing beer, breathtaking views, and family-friendly fun.”
More than 20 Utah breweries and cideries will pour samples on the Lawn of Silver Lake Lodge during the festival. Past participants have included UTOG Brewing, Moab Brewery, TF Brewing, Squatters Brewing, Wasatch Brewing, Offset Bier, Roosters Brewing Co., Mountain West Cider, Salt Flats Brewing, Kitos Brewing, Bohemian Brewery, Uinta Brewing, Proper Brewing, Heber Valley Brewing and Park City Brewery.
Beyond the beer, the two-day festival will include scenic chairlift access, a dedicated Kids Zone and other expanded family activities, and dining from Silver Lake Restaurant along with new offerings from Deer Valley Creamery, Slopeside Sweets and the Brined & Battered Nashville Chicken Trailer. Guests can also shop at vendor booths and take in live music, with Dylan Catrone headlining Sept. 19 and G. Love & Special Sauce headlining Sept. 20.
The celebration kicks off Friday, Sept. 18, at 6 p.m. with the Brewmaster Dinner at Silver Lake Lodge. The multicourse dinner pairs dishes from the Deer Valley culinary team with beers from the top five breweries, as voted on by attendees at last year’s festival. Tickets for the dinner are sold separately online.
Parking and check-in for the Mountain Beer Festival will be at Snow Park Village, with access to the event via the Silver Lake Express chairlift. Event packages include scenic chairlift access to and from the venue.
