Summit County Library launches summer reading program with ‘Unearth a Story’ theme

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — Summit County Library’s summer reading program is back, inviting readers of all ages to spend the season digging into books, stories, and library programs.

This year’s theme, “Unearth a Story,” centers on discovering new worlds, hidden histories, and stories waiting to be found. The program includes weekly activities, reading challenges, and events for children, teens, and adults throughout the summer.

The summer reading program is designed to keep readers engaged while school is out and to offer families a free, accessible way to connect through books and community events.

Participants can join the reading challenges, attend library programs, or do both. The library said the season will include opportunities for young readers, teens, and adults, with programming aimed at a range of ages and interests.

More information about summer reading programs and events is available through Summit County Library.
