Netflix’s ‘Chef’s Table’ brings $15,000 culinary experience to Park City

PARK CITY, Utah — Fans of Netflix’s acclaimed culinary series Chef’s Table will soon have the opportunity to go behind the scenes and into the kitchen alongside some of the world’s most celebrated chefs as the inaugural Chef’s Table Festival comes to Park City this August.
The four-day festival, scheduled for Aug. 13–16, will bring more than 70 internationally renowned chefs into local Park City restaurants for over 100 dining experiences, demonstrations, tastings, and outdoor excursion. According to organizers, the event was created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Emmy-nominated Netflix series and will offer guests access to chefs whose stories have been featured on the show.

The festival’s lineup includes culinary stars such as Francis Mallmann, Nancy Silverton, Virgilio Martínez, Sean Brock, Dario Cecchini, Franco Pepe, Pía León, and dozens of others from across the globe.
According to Forbes report by travel writer Larry Olmsted, The event will offer experiences ranging from intimate chef-hosted lunches and dinners to cooking demonstrations, according to an article in Forbes. Guests will have the chance to interact directly with many of the chefs they have watched on television.
Festival organizers say attendees will be able to customize their weekends through a concierge-style system. After purchasing tickets, guests will submit preferred chef selections, and the Chef’s Table Festival team will build personalized itineraries based on their ticket tier and interests.

Organizers describe the event as more than a traditional food festival. In addition to restaurant-based experiences, attendees will be able to participate in outdoor adventures and hands-on culinary activities designed to showcase both Park City and the chefs’ craft.
The festival is being presented by Resy and American Express and is expected to draw food enthusiasts from around the world to Park City.
For Park City, the event adds another high-profile culinary gathering to a calendar that already includes annual events such as Savor the Summit, furthering the town’s reputation as a destination for food-focused tourism.
