HEBER VALLEY, Utah — A new way to explore Utah’s outdoors has arrived at Jordanelle State Park, where visitors can now pick up Utah State Parks adventure passport booklets at the Rock Cliff Nature Center.
The program invites kids and families to explore Utah’s state parks and public lands through a hands-on “passport” system that tracks outdoor experiences with collectible stamps or stickers.
Each journal includes a page for each Utah State Park designed to encourage exploration, learning, and time outside. Participants can complete activities such as hiking, wildlife observation, camping skills, and environmental education tasks, then add corresponding stamps or stickers to document their progress.
At Jordanelle State Park, the Rock Cliff Nature Center serves as one of the distribution points where visitors can pick up the booklets and begin their adventure.
The journals are available during regular nature center hours.
