PARK CITY, Utah — The Summit County Housing Authority will host a free community event on March 12 focused on the relationship between housing and transportation in Summit County.
The Housing & Transportation Community Event is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 12, at the Mountain Regional Water Building, 5739 Paintbrush Road in Park City.
According to the housing authority, local experts will discuss common misconceptions about affordable housing, community development, and transportation, and how planning and policy decisions can shape those issues locally.
The event will include a question-and-answer session for residents who want to learn more about housing resources, local programs, and the broader connection between housing and transportation planning.
Officials said the March 12 event is the first in a quarterly series examining how housing intersects with other community priorities. Future discussions are expected to focus on housing and open space, housing and local government, and housing and economic development.
The event is free. Organizers ask attendees to RSVP at summitcounty.info/housingspeakerseries.
