PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Artists Association is inviting the public to their 3rd annual “Spring Into Art” local artist showcase at the DoubleTree by Hilton Park City, The Yarrow. The show is open and free to the public and will take place on Friday, March 20, from 3 to 7 p.m.; Saturday, March 21, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, March 22, from 12 to 4 p.m.
With ten painters using watercolor, acrylics, oil, or mixed media, you can view a range of styles such as the abstract style preferred by Karen Kendall, the scenic landscapes by Nan Gray, the imaginative paintings by Anna Nizhoni, and the blended styles of Lisa Needham, among others.
Five jewelers will show off their newest creations and six award-winning photographers will display their landscapes, nature, and abstract images.
To round out the artwork, “Spring Into Art” features woodwork, steel sculptures, fiber art, and glass creations. Jim Sheeran’s birdhouses attract nesting birds while adding unique art to gardens. Mitch Bedke has been expanding his glass art repertoire continuously and Catherine Marchant and Becky Ruley create exquisite fiber art. This artist showcase is a good way to find out what local artists are working on.
