The car crash damaged two power poles, Rocky Mountain Power spokesperson David Eskelsen said. By 8:30 a.m. Sunday, power had been restored to about 1,500 customers as crews worked to replace the damaged poles and restring power lines. A cold snap affecting the region has brought sub-zero temps for the weekend into Monday.

As of 3 p.m., approximately 450 customers remain without power, and deputies still have a section of Old Ranch Road closed while Rocky Mountain Power replaces the poles.

Eskelsen said that full restoration is expected later this afternoon. Check https://www.rockymountainpower.net/outages-safety.html for the most current power outage updates
