North Pole mishap leads to sweet adventure at PC MARC
PARK CITY, Utah — A mishap by Santa’s elves has created Park City’s sweetest scavenger hunt after a sleigh full of candy canes was scattered over the PC MARC during a routine North Pole flight.
The festive accident has prompted local recreation officials to organize an emergency Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt on Friday, Dec. 20, recruiting young helpers ages 3-8 for the holiday recovery mission.
The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with holiday preparations at the craft station, where children can customize their candy collection bags with provided materials. The official search commences at 6 p.m., with young detectives and their grown-up supervisors combing the grounds until 6:30 p.m.
Adult chaperones can join the adventure free of charge, though their presence is required for all participating children. Parents should bring flashlights to aid in the evening search.
Pre-registration is mandatory for this holiday hunt. Space is limited, and interested families should contact the Park City MARC to secure their spots.
