Park City MARC tennis bubble closed indefinitely due to wind damage

PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City MARC tennis bubble has been severely damaged by an extreme wind event overnight, leaving the facility out of commission for an undetermined period. The unexpected weather event has caused significant damage to the structure, necessitating its closure to the public.

PC MARC staff are working to assess and mitigate the damage, working to restore access as soon as possible. However, due to the extent of the damage, the tennis bubble will remain unavailable for play for the foreseeable future.

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Park City through 5:00 p.m. Saturday with Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph and gusts up to 55 mph.
