Work begins on Run-A-Muk Trailhead project, upgrades planned for off-leash dog area
PARK CITY, Utah — Work will begin on the Run-A-Muk Trailhead project today, Aug. 15, bringing improvements to the off-leash dog area.
During the construction period, there will be temporary gaps in the fencing along Olympic Parkway. While these gaps will not impact areas near the trails, according to Basin Recreation, they are essential for successful completion of the project.
Dog owners are encouraged to remain on designated trails and to keep their pets in sight and under voice control at all times. It is also advised to have a leash on hand during visits to the area.
“Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work to enhance access to our shared trails,” said a Facebook post from Basin Recreation. “We’re looking forward to sharing this new trailhead with you once it’s complete!”
