De Botelho said another car – a Land Rover – that was stolen from the Silver Springs neighborhood in Park City was also recovered on Sunday in Salt Lake City. It was also left open with the keys in the vehicle when it was stolen.

Police are warning people to lock their vehicles.

“These were both unlocked vehicles that had the keys either inside the vehicle or the keys in the ignition,” De Botelho said. “They are just pulling on door handles until they find an unlocked car.”
