PARK CITY, Utah — Song Summit Village is set to become the vibrant heart of an exciting weekend filled with music, wellness, and community activities.
The event kicks off on Thursday, August 15, with music by Tigers and Slips at 5 PM and The Watson Twins at 6 PM. It continues Friday, August 16, and Saturday, August 17, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM each day, offering attendees a unique blend of entertainment and rejuvenation.
Song Summit Village is a celebration of local talent and wellness, where everyone is welcome. It features live performances by local musicians, a variety of vendors, and an array of food options. The entrance is free for everyone, whether you have passes for the Song Summit or not.
In addition to music, the village emphasizes well-being and relaxation with activities such as chair massages, an oxygen bar, B12 shots, IV hydration, and a stretch lab. Attendees can also visit the Nuzzles & Co Snuggle Lab for a comforting experience.
Interactive activities and exhibitions are also part of the village’s offerings, including a custom hat bar by House of Hatters, permanent jewelry by Salt City Permanent Jewelry, and a photo exhibit by Jay Blakesberg. The Song Summit Foundation and the Abundance Institute will also be present, providing additional engagement for visitors.
Culinary delights and refreshments will be available from Best Day Brewing, Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice, and Hill’s Kitchen. Various food trucks will also be on-site to cater to diverse tastes.
The Park City Song Summit, founded out of a passion for music, is an immersive event that explores the art of songwriting through intimate conversations and diverse musical performances. It provides a platform to delve into the stories behind the songs while addressing significant issues like mental health and addiction recovery. The summit aims to destigmatize these issues, fostering a supportive community that resonates with a global audience.
Attendees can expect a range of activities designed to enhance well-being, including yoga, meditation, guided hikes, and sober hangouts. This year’s lineup features renowned artists such as Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, My Morning Jacket, and Mavis Staples, among others. Moderators and featured guests include notable personalities like Jay Blakesberg, John Bukaty, and Danny Clinch.
The Song Summit Village was organized by the Song Summit Foundation which brings awareness to the struggles faced by people in the music and creative arts communities. As a not-for-profit organization, Song Summit Foundation supports wellness through music at Park City Song Summit and beyond by hosting bespoke programs and funding organizations that use music for wellness and education.
