Cyclist injured in collision with vehicle in Summit Park

PARK CITY, Utah – Deputies responded to an injury accident involving a motor vehicle and bicyclist, Sunday at the intersection of Kilby Rd. and Balsam Dr.

As the motor vehicle was navigating a left hand turn, authorities say the bicyclist collided with the passenger side of the vehicle.

The cyclist sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken by medical personnel to the U of U hospital for further care. The driver of the vehicle driver was issued a citation for improper turn and released from incident scene, according to a Summit County Sheriff’s report.
