Volunteers wanted for Kimball Arts Festival Aug. 2-4
In 2023, more than 300 volunteers put in 2,245 hours at the Kimball Arts Festival
PARK CITY, Utah — The Kimball Art Center is seeking volunteers for the 55th annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival, which will take place on Park City Main Street Aug. 2-4.
The Kimball Arts Festival will showcase the work of nearly 200 jury-selected artists from around the world, including ten artists from Summit County. According to at statement from the Kimball Art Center, the festival aims to celebrate the ways that art connects us all, and entertain guests with experiential and performance art opportunities.
Hundreds of three to five hour volunteer shifts are currently available for the festival, most of them open to those 18 or older. Beer garden and VIP tent volunteers must be 21 or older, and those under 18 can volunteer in the Kids’ Area, or elsewhere with a parent or guardian.
Online volunteer orientation will take place July 23 from 6-7:30 p.m. Setup will take place July 17-Aug. 1, and the Arts Festival will be open to the public Aug. 2 from 5-9 p.m., Aug. 3 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Aug. 4 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Volunteers receive:
- Free access to the festival for the weekend
- A commemorative volunteer t-shirt with a new design for 2024
- Earn a ticket to the volunteer appreciation drawing for each shift you volunteer
- Discounts on art from more than 140 participating artists
Volunteers who work 20 hours or more annually also receive a complimentary ‘Red’ Individual Membership to the Kimball Art Center, a $55 value.
